TRS Higher Education Track

Registration for TRS Higher Education Two Day Track hosted by the Base Education Center. This track will take place each day from 7:30-15:30. **Please contact the Base Education Center for the specific building location at: cpec@usmc.mil or 760-725-6414.

This track is designed to assist you in creating a customized plan for a successful transition to a higher education institution. Attendance of the two-day track will facilitate the accomplishment of the Education Career Readiness Standards (CRS):

• Interest assessment

• College application

• School counseling appointment

• Individual Transition Plan (ITP)

In addition, this track serves as a guide in:

• The admissions process

• Choosing a degree completion program

• Choosing a college institution

• Funding options including: state and federal benefits, scholarships, grants, and student loans
